Do you want to be more in control of your life? Do you want to be more effective? Do you want to be more confident?
If so, then you need to reconnect with your own personal power.
Personal power is having personal authority, influence and choice in all situations. Empowerment is the process of gaining the knowledge, skill-sets, and attitudes to manage yourself in whatever circumstances you find yourself in and to change yourself or the circumstances to be more in alignment with your own needs and desires.
We often think of power as control and domination over others. Thinking of power in that way, however, limits your ability to change yourself to meet the circumstances of your life. Instead, think of power as having inner power over yourself so that you can direct your own life, rather than being the victim of the choices of others. The true nature of that power is that you have supreme power in relation to the one thing you truly can control, namely, yourself. In making use of that power, you can make a significant difference in the situations and with the people around you.
There are ways you can connect with your own self-confidence so that you can be more fully in your own power. One of the simplest ways to change how you think is to change the words you use. Language has the power to reinterpret your experiences, and therefore bring forth a fresh perspective.
For example, instead of saying you “should” do something, practice rephrasing it to be that you “choose to” do something, for in essence, you are choosing whether you will do something or not.Instead of talking about what you DON’T want, rephrase your statements to rather say what it is you DO want. For example, “I want to eat salad today” is better than saying “I don’t want to eat pizza.”You are putting your focus on what you do want, and empowering yourself to have that.
Posture is another important element in increasing your confidence. When you are confident, you stand with strength. You hold your head high.Your shoulders are held back, and your feet are planted firmly, a little bit apart, weight equally balanced on both legs. You can meet the eyes of other people with true connection. Practice sitting taller, standing taller, and you will notice a big difference in how you feel.
Lastly, recognize your own strengths and abilities. Take the time to make a list of things you do well and qualities about yourself that you really like, and read it often. You have special gifts that make you unique. When you choose to share your uniqueness and natural talents, you are truly contributing to the benefit of others.
Go forth with courage and confidence and make a difference. The world is waiting for you !

Ready or Not, Here I Come…..
Linda Costello
Have you ever noticed how children play? They are so serious in their play, giving it every bit of their attention. When my son got a new action figure, he would spend hours with it, making up stories, having it interact with other action figures, and even drawing it! It became the light of his life for that time.
When I was a child, my best friend and I created a whole line of paper dolls. We made a family, designed all of their clothes, and even made them a house. It was the highlight of our lives for months. We'd rush home from school just so we could work more on our project. Even after we finished them, we'd get together and make up stories with our characters. If they needed a new prop or outfit, we'd make it!
I remember vividly some of the games of my childhood - the big hide-and-seek games we would play where all of the kids in the neighborhood would participate. We'd plan a night (usually a Saturday) and we'd talk about it all week.... Saturday night in the Big Four! The big four were the four yards where we were allowed to hide. We all knew it meant a big hide-and-seek game. And we would play for hours! Well after dusk when it became even harder and harder to find people in hiding places.
That's how we are meant to live! We are meant to live with passion and joy, and rapt attention to the task at hand. We are meant to live with that level of enthusiasm, with that level of anticipation, totally present to the NOW.
Have you lost that? If so, I can assist you in finding it again. I was always EXCELLENT at Hide-And-Seek.
When I first moved to Arizona, I bought a new car. It came with a feature I would never have purchased: a built-in GPS (Global Positioning System) navigational system. At first I thought I’d never use it, but then I realized that using this GPS would allow me to relax and enjoy the ride: I could trust this device to get me where I needed to be without any fuss or worry on my part. Wouldn’t it be great, I mused, to have such a system to help us navigate or manage our journey through life? Then it came to me: we all have an internal GPS.
Have you ever had the experience of meeting someone for the first time and instantly connecting as if you had been friends forever? Or how about visiting somewhere for the first time, only to feel as if you had been there before? Have you ever noticed that you had a ‘gift’ or a knack for some skill? These are often reflections of past life experiences.
Trauma and issues from the past can also be carried forward into current life experience. Sometimes these can cause problems or ‘stuckness’ in one’s current situations in life. This is one way that past life regression therapy can be extremely helpful.
By bringing these memories into one’s conscious awareness, they can be dealt with, diffused, or one can actually find closure which then can provide freedom, movement and healing in this current lifetime. Even if one believes these “memories” are not true past life experiences, they function as symbolic stories and are equally as effective in resolving current issues.
Regression therapy is rapidly becoming accepted into the mainstream as a very useful therapeutic tool. In as little as one session, people can gain relief that otherwise may not be realized.
Some areas in which past life regression therapy has helped are:
Troubling behavior patterns that seem unbreakable.
Relationship dynamics that are adverse, and seem to defy resolution.
Phobias.
Many chronic physical ailments, sensations and/or pains.
Dominant attitudes or emotions that seem to persist and repeat throughout one’s lifetime.
